This Windows Phone Developer Is Only 12 Years Old (MSFT)

A couple weeks ago at its big event introducing the TouchPad, Hewlett-Packard introduced the audience to Connor LaCombe, a 14-year-old who had built a business around developing for WebOS.

Now, Microsoft has one-upped HP. Today, the company posted a video interview with Eliot Forde, a Windows Phone developer who is only 12. He shows off a simple game called Ricochet that he developed using Visual Studio, Microsoft's professional development environment. He creates all his own graphics using Paint.net, a freeware graphics program, and has been programming since he was 11 and a half, starting with simple console programs and then progressing through the Zune HD to Windows Phone 7.
